Our Continental Scope
Africa Foundation for Young Media Professionals is a Pan African non- profit initiative established to raise the standard of media professional practice in Africa beginning from Nigeria. It is entirely a Media Skill Development, Mentoring, Debate, Awards and discussion platform with the aim of creating budding raw materials that will equip the upcoming and middle level/established media professionals in Africa media industry.
Our organization’s activities are targeted toward Young and Early Career Media practitioners of 5 years and below, students of media, communications and Public Relations.
The headquarters is based in Nigeria with projected offices in Nairobi Kenya, Johannesburg South Africa and New York USA.

Form alliances with credible media, Media skills development organizations in planning, execution, marketing of the projects and services.
Build alliances with different media student associations especially in tertiary institutions in Nigeria and Africa for ease of project planning, execution especially for media clinics.

Yinka Olaito
Executive DirectorYinka Olaito is a Media and communications specialist. With 25 years postgraduate experience, Yinka has served as independent Journalist, communications consultant,Global advocate for women and girls issues among others. With track records in diplomacy, governance,public policy analysis, stakeholders relations, campaign, advocacy management, Media and Public Relations and a media trainer, Yinka holds MA degree in Media, Communications and Public Relations from the University of Leicester UK, postgraduate diploma in Public Administration coupled with training certificates in global diplomacy, content management, strategic management, Public Policy, gender sensitive governance etc. Yinka shares his opinion at www. yinkaolaito.com
Busola Oladunjoye
Programme/M&E Officerhas over 6 years’ experience in programe communications, monitoring research and evaluations. She had served with United Nations Information Centre as well as Leap Africa. Busola speaks French and English fluently. Busola holds two masters degrees: Master in Public Adminstration and Masters of Art in Foreign Language and Literature (French)
Shanu Olakunle
Programme/Project Leadshas over 15 years’ experience in project and programme management. His experience cuts across education institutions and student recruitment. He holds Bsc in Mass Communications from Olabis Onabanjo University and Masters in Business Administration from University of Lagos.
Flourish Oladipupo
Head finance and Adminis an excellent facilitator, finance and admin professional with over 25 years’ experience which cuts across Education, Banking and nonprofit sectors. He holds BSc Accounting from Ogun State University, Now Olabisi Onabanjo University and Masters in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University.
